Unleash Your Creativity: Embark on a journey of creativity and discover the enchanting world of origami with XO Studio's free Origami Heart Class. Join us in January and February 2024 for more than just a class—a chance to immerse yourself in the art of paper folding and create something beautiful.
Date and Location: Join us at XO Studio, 5435 Mills Civic Pkwy #105, West Des Moines, Iowa, for a heartwarming origami experience. Classes are scheduled on Wednesdays from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM or on the first Friday. Reserve Your Spot and Map Your Way to XO Studio.
Crafting Your Origami Heart
Follow these simple steps to create your delightful origami heart:

Start with a Square Sheet: Begin with a square sheet of paper. Materials provided in-person; ensure your paper at home is square.

Fold Diagonally: Create a triangle by folding the square diagonally. Precision is key for a neat finish.

Fold the Bottom Point Up: Take the bottom point of the triangle and fold it up, leaving a small triangle at the bottom.

Fold the Sides Inward: Fold the two sides of the triangle inward to meet at the centerline, forming a diamond shape.

Fold the Top Flap Down: Create a smaller diamond shape by folding the top flap of the diamond down.

Tuck in the Side Flaps: Form the sides of your heart by tucking the two side flaps into the pocket created by the top flap.

Final Adjustments: Refine the heart shape by adjusting the folds. Experiment with different sizes and styles.
